Yesterday, to save tokens, I set Opus as the agent instead of Fable. Within less than an hour I was already yelling at my screen. It misunderstood the instructions, acted without reading memory and guidelines, overthought problems that didn’t exist, and created useless things that I hadn’t told it to do. And now I’m wondering: how is it possible that the folks at Anthropic don’t realize this? Are they fine with it? Do they have no plans to fix it? Don’t they read Reddit?
