Obviously, when the feature first came out I expected that opening panels on both sides would be a lot easier, since you didn’t have to dedicate 1 finger to a critical actions at a random moment. Previously, I primarily moved with my left thumb and managed inventory and camera with the right. After trying to take on harder and harder content, it felt like it was beginning to mess with my thought process. I’d miss movement mechanics, prayer and gear switches, and become lost thinking about what finger to use and when. So, I switched that setting off; now I don’t use the hot-keys enough… Tk;dr Hotkeys open on left side, or right. What’s your preference? submitted by /u/Smexyman0808
