Built a scraper for my team over 4 days with Claude Code It holds context fine early on, but past a certain point it starts suggesting fixes I already ruled out. Codex does this even sooner in my experience. Handed the project to a coworker on day 3 and the diff alone told him nothing about why we dropped two approaches first. I mean he just redid one of my failed attempts.
