For context, I have 4 children. Three daughters and a son. I’m done having kids. So much so, I booked my surgery date to have my tubes completely removed. I keep having this lingering question of if we are making the right choice or if we should try one more time to give my son a brother. I realize it’s never a guarantee but there’s always a 50/50 shot. As an only child and a woman I don’t know how boys fare without a brother. My husband has a brother and it’s a special friendship different from what he and his sister have. Am I dooming my son here? submitted by /u/wanna_bebarbie
