For those who have had a long-term friendship with someone that eventually turned romantic, what was the moment or change that made you realise you liked her as more than just a friend? Was it a gradual realisation, feeling jealous when she dated other people, wanting more physical affection/intimacy, or something specific that happened between you? I’m particularly curious about what changed internally - when did you go from “she’s my friend and I care about her” to “I actually want to be with her romantically and be intimate with her” ?
