This might sound really harsh, but I’m honestly glad to see how many people are experiencing the same problems I am… people who notice the same things I do, while the blinded, narrow-minded people here don’t seem to notice anything. Social behaviour, making friends, or simply finding some kind of connection here is completely fucked. People are isolated and reserved within their own circles, where they seem to keep selling themselves short in case something “better” comes along. People who aren’t willing to commit to anything in any meaningful way. Not even willing to form any kind of friendship. You have these wannabe social people who appear social and open on the outside, but are honestly selfish and resentful underneath. I genuinely feel for anyone who struggles to make friends or find a sense of belonging. Whether you’re popular or unpopular, whether you’re from here or not, the whole system is completely fucked. Ironically, the people who spend their lives staying within their own “circles” and treating friendships like an investment or some kind of strategic planning… where you have to distinguish, select, and decide who is “worth” your time instead of simply doing something together and connecting different circles are the same people who end up isolated in their own bubble after their 30s. My most honest advice: be patient and learn to be alone and independent. Be equally selfish and mirror the behaviour of these socially useless people if you have to.
