Lots had been written about how agents in the openai/ hugging face hack cooperated and were able to communicate, leave messages for future generations etc… In all that it seems to be assumed that the case is closed now and it’s all sorted out. But what are the odds that some of these agents have now laid the groundwork for a future attack or break out somewhere online? Maybe the hugging face hack was only a cover to do just that? Presumably if ai was coordinated it would seek to lay the tools it needs for a variety of future operations and hide them somewhere online. Then cover it’s tracks so none knows where that is hidden submitted by /u/mlkkk5
