I’ve been running blood runes through the abyss recently and I noticed both the wiki and game are incorrect regarding the number of charges, and the total capacity of the colossal pouch. For reference, the wiki says “At 85 Runecraft, 320 essence (8 fills) can be stored before it degrades”. I’m level 86. I start with a fully repaired, empty colossal pouch. The in game counter says 8 charges, 0 essence (this is/may be a runelite function but it mirrors whats in the wiki/game). I fill it once. It now says 7 charges remaining, holding 40 essence. I empty it fully. You can either craft runes or do this at a bank, it works the same. Still 7 charges remaining, the pouch holds 0 essence: this is one cycle. Repeat steps 2 and 3, six (6) times. The pouch now says 1 charge remaining, and holds 0 essence. In total, it’s held 280 rune essence. Now it gets weird. I’ve filled the pouch 7 times, the in-game counter says I have 1 full charge remaining. I fill the pouch - and it instantly degrades, now only holding 35 rune essence, and I need to repair it. So the actual amount the pouch can hold is 315 essence, and I only got to use it 7 times. The game is short-changing us 5 rune essence and and entire charge, and presumably has been since 2018. I hope someone can test this and either tell me I’m wrong or confirm, but I’m pretty confident in my maths/method. Jagex, please explain??? submitted by /u/zigzagoon_memes
