Prior to MES 2.0, reordering menus was simple albeit i solely felt that it needed very basic tweaks such as a toggle button to enable/disable it in the hotkeys panel. A ‘shift’ click option would be great for things like walking under araxxor during enrage phase, which i honestly have no clue a proper way to implement this. The point i want to get at though, is that mobile OSRS has major updates and major bugs with those updates. It takes a long time to iron out the kinks and get things to where the developers expected them to be at during release. MES 1.0, or whatever were gonna call it, had gotten to the point where alot was smoothed out and there wasn’t nearly hourly posts or comments about the current state of OSRS Mobile. MES 2.0 has essentially reset things back into a buggy state where we are expected to wait a year+ before things are smoothed out enough that the gameplay experience is modest for generally all players. I don’t have a single improvement about MES 2.0 to state. Its changed my gameplay for the far worse and in fact has essentially disabled high level content. Going through the update log doesn’t provide anything major that is “wow we need this right now” that would have me giddy about all of these new bugs and janky gameplay. I am a developer myself, albeit not video games but i do know that we have less of a budget to work with and more “customers” than Jagex, we would have asses fried if we had a plethora of our clients screeching about the state of our services. I really don’t know, its just astonishing how this “big” update has been more negative than positive. The servers are in a poor state. Jagex went ahead and raised prices so they surely are making more money now. The game is in such a weird place with Jagex i personally feel, its obvious they want money over effort but at the same time they are a business providing a service and its a bit horse shit how they communicate with us regarding things. submitted by /u/RQ-170
