Hello :) In June I shared here a 17-minute anime pilot I made alone with AI-assisted animation, as a case study of what the tools change for a solo creator. Episode 2 is out, 21 minutes, so here is the follow-up. https://youtu.be/z-YRrutXaFE Three things I learned between the two episodes: Nobody asked for sharper frames. They asked for better pacing, more varied voices, less exposition. The bottleneck moved from “can I generate it” to “can I direct it”. Consistency is a constraint problem more than a generation problem. Approved reference stills reused everywhere, a few non-negotiables per character, a written bible. The model did not get smarter, I got stricter. It took three and a half months instead of the six weeks I announced. Generating is fast. Rejecting, re-directing and editing is not. Same disclaimer as last time: AI did not do everything. Writing, direction, shot choices, editing and sound decisions were mine. AI made the scale possible.
