I’m a 26(F) and this man i’m writing about here is 28(M). I really thought this was just a usual fleeting attraction that’d fade like all the others before. But nope, here i am months later still proper stuck on this guy. Tbf, i figured i was just reliving that high-school crush vibe, but nah, this feels different. No cap, he’s peng, absolute stunner, got that mysterious aura, and for some reason mysteries just do it for me XD. Not my first time fancying someone with familiar vibes, but this one hits different. Haven’t met him in person yet, just been texting on insta. We’re both rubbish texters tbh… used to send one or two messages a day at max lol. Bare basics only, nothing deep. When he travels he goes fully socially dead (relatable af), so i’m pretty sure his DMs are a graveyard and my texts just get lost in the void 🤣 I’m a girl with morals (or just a massive introvert, take your pick 😂), so i’ve always matched his energy, kept it chill, never double texted or shown how much his notifications make my day. Pure one sided ting, i know. Current sitch… it’s been over a week since our once-a-day ritual died. Apparently he was abroad on a trip again, and yeah, my message vanished into the void - AGAIN! Happened last month too… i got the urge to catch his eye, dropped a proper cheeky comment on a picture he posted up in his story, he replied asking what was i upto while he was gone (cute), things were flowing (flowing? Not exactly but i have no idea what other word to fit in here🤣)… then poof… this dude disappears again. Back to square one innit🙃 This whole thing is bare funny at this point, I’m so dead 😂. Now he’s even showing up in my dreams for fuck’s sake! How do I deal with this low effort cycle? I’m a total bummer when i come to approaching a man - a bad initiator. Your perspective might really come handy here so here i am. Do I just allow it and move on, or is there a cheeky way to rizz him up without looking desperate? Spill the tea Folks, what would you do?
