My usual flow: talk through an idea with Claude Code, have it draft a design doc as an MD file, then review it. The problem: when I ask Claude to suggest improvements on its own doc, the suggestions stay anchored to what it already wrote. It refines within its own frame instead of bringing a genuinely new angle — which is exactly what design review should surface. Right now I’m the one supplying that fresh perspective, not Claude. I’ve tried instructing it via memory/CLAUDE.md to actively look for new angles instead of just polishing what’s there, but it hasn’t worked reliably. How is everyone else handling this? submitted by /u/YujiSuzuki
