Setup: Claude Code → enable Developer options → Configure third-party interface → set up an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. The key step: rename whatever model you’re serving to either claude-opus-5 or claude-sonnet-5. Claude Code validates the model name before using it, so anything else will fail.
