After spending the past month on Codex 20x plan I really have come to appreciate how good Fable is. The last straw for me was Codex randomly spinning up agent and completely nuking my 20x plan in under 5 minutes. Astra is LAZY with code and horrible with design. I find Fable to be much more thorough and precise. Benchmarks are trash. Fable 5.1 is better for Code and it’s really not even close. I’m so sorry for betraying Claude. I hope this betrayal wasn’t load bearing. My little baby Claude. My Dario. My Dune. The best workflow is probably a mix of both frontier models but if I had to choose one it would be my Sugar Puff Honey Muffin Claude-poo.
