I’ve been using only Opus since I started with Claude Code, and now that the limits have been reduced I started trying to use Sonnet as well. The problem though is not exactly the “smartness” of the model, is that whenever I ask Sonnet for a simple task (change a button, resize an animation, etc) I notice that my usage is going away similar as using Opus. Anyone having the same problem? I just used Sonnet 5 to change the timestamp of an animation and it used 22% of my 5hr window (pro plan) for about ~5 minutes of work. Thats very very similar than the amount of usage that Opus would take to do the same thing for me. Am I using Sonnet wrong? What should I use it for then? submitted by /u/Morpegom
