Just a layperson here so I’m trying to figure out what these warnings mean. Dario Amodei said "Given the accelerating rate of AI capability development, it’s my worry that in 6 to 12 months such a swarm could be capable of taking over the entire internet with a persistent botnet.” That statement seems very vague and considering that the internet is such a large global network, what is the mechanism that this could happen? submitted by /u/midwoodgirl10
