I think there may be a bug or inconsistency in Claude Code’s weekly usage tracking. My Opus limits seemed to be going down much faster than expected, even without using Fable. Before the recent changes, I was using Opus across 3 to 4 projects and would usually end the week around 80% to 90% usage, even when we only had roughly 50% of the current allowance. After the additional 25% was added, I expected to have more headroom. However, by Friday, after only about 3 days of usage, my weekly progress was already showing 98%. I then used Claude Code for about 15 more minutes to finish a task, and the dashboard reached 100%. The strange part is that nothing happened. Claude Code did not warn me that my weekly limit had been reached. It continued working normally, and my extra usage balance was not charged. I checked the Claude website and it was also showing 100% weekly usage, with no extra usage consumed. Then I opened the regular Claude chat and asked a few questions. At that point, I got a warning saying that I had used around 75% of my weekly allowance. What is interesting is that around 75% is much closer to what I expected my actual usage to be. So now I am wondering if the weekly progress indicator is incorrect. For people currently seeing 100% weekly usage, are you actually being blocked from using Claude Code? In my case, the dashboard says 100%, but Claude Code is still working normally, no extra usage is being charged, and Claude’s own chat showed my weekly usage at around 75%. submitted by /u/andre-br
