I rarely see people at hallowed sepulcher and often when people ask in clan about it, I’m one of the only people that can help, because nobody really does it, it’s similar in situation to VM and I just think that’s a damned shame. The problems The absolute max XP/HR you should expect is 100k/hr. This is pretty unrealistic for the average player I feel like, especially since you want to be at least looting something, and frankly, why would you learn it? It’s a lot of effort, and you can just click green boxes in a circle for 80% of the xp, aaaaand now everyone hates agility. As a post previously astutely pointed out, Jagex can’t design a good agility course to save their life, and that’s almost entirely down to sepulcher being colossal effort for marginal increase. How could any course of click green boxes out-xp Sepulcher? It can’t, and you can’t really have a new course offer less xp, so now Jagex has to design inside an incredibly small box. The solutions Spread some of the xp towards looting, even the looting portion of the wiki for XP/HR assumes you’re not looting roughly half of the chests, because they’re not worth it. And you get punished for looting, one of the more fun and thematic parts of the course! Actually make the XP worth the time investment in learning and match the effort and difficulty. Honestly, if the xp was doubled I wouldn’t see a problem, there’s not really a single skilling activity in the game that requires this much attention and learning, however, this is reddit, so even 25-50% increase would be a huge improvement. Sepulcher is incredible, I can happily wile away many hours there, but despite this, almost nobody does it, and all the effort I always wonder why I bother given I can just green box click for the same. submitted by /u/Lazypole
