I 35m personally gave up for a number of reasons but mostly because most women on dating sites aren’t serious or are just very picky which means you have to virtually be perfect to stand out since they have hundreds of guys messaging them. I’m 6’4”, have my own place, drive a fairly new car and I’ve been told by numerous people that I’m handsome but when I get matches online, most of them don’t even respond and when they do I feel like I’m doing all of the work so I basically just said screw it. Anyway the purpose of this was not to rant but to give a bit of insight as to why I gave up. I genuinely want to know why other men have given up. submitted by /u/Jeff_0012
