I’ve recently read a few posts here on reddit (in different subs) about agressive scammers/beggars in or around different train stations, mainly Lausanne and Renens. Often, I hear complaints saying “police don’t do anything against it” and the same people suggest to just walk away when getting harassed. How would the police, the politicians, SBB etc. do something if nobody reports it? If you are getting harassed, someone approaches you in a weird way, follows you after you clearly say “No” or you otherwise feel unsafe, then call the police. Your fellow human beings will thank you. The number for SBB police is 0800 117 117, which you can call for things on trains or in train stations. If you are unsure whether to call SBB police or the normal police, call 117. submitted by /u/Any-Background-8128
