So I’m in a bit of a funny situation. I ordered something from Zalando. Items arrived. I chose as payment to pay later (Zalando’s own pay-later program, not Klarna or other). A few days prior, I did some housekeeping in my account - updating email address etc. Nothing suspicious. Account is maybe 10 years old, with multiple purchases. Today I received an email saying that due to “unusual activity in your Zalando account”, my account has been deactivated and “Unfortunately, it will not be possible to recover your account. We kindly ask you to set up a new Zalando account with a different email address”. First of all, HOW do I return my item and get a refund back? Not only I can’t log in anymore, but refunds are typically in credits, no? Second, HOW do I even pay? Third, the audacity to expect people to have multiple email addresses, like WTF?.. On their website, there is zero contact information (email, phone number)… So I’m here wondering, from both a practical and legal perspective, what the hell do I do? submitted by /u/manolis09
