Hi everyone, I’m Yisahak, a university student in Ethiopia. I’m trying to learn Claude Code to build skills and earn income. I live in a rural area. My challenge: I need to pay for a Claude Code subscription (around $40). I have the ETB ready. I have a Grey USD virtual card. The problem is converting ETB to USD in Ethiopia. It’s almost impossible: · You can’t legally hold USD unless you’re a traveler. · Ethiopia blocked P2P crypto trading two months ago, so USDT routes are gone. · I’ve asked around for someone to exchange even $40 worth — no luck. What I need: Someone who can send USD directly to my Grey virtual card. I will send the ETB equivalent via Telebirr, CBE Birr, or any Ethiopian payment method. I’m not asking for free money. I have the Birr. I just can’t bridge the gap between ETB and USD. Any advice is welcome — especially from Ethiopians in the diaspora who know a safe, legal way to do this. Thank you for reading.
