Keeping it short, my (26M) dad is a very succesful man. We are from Serbia where the average salary is €900, he managed to make a company that makes amazing revenue even for more western standards. He built this company for 20 years and is still building it, it has gotten to the point where he bought me and my 2 sisters everyone an apartment and their own car. God knows how many real estate he has that we don’t even know about. I work at his firm and I’m contributing pretty good, but I can’t shake of the feeling how I’m living an easy life and don’t have that “drive” to make something off myself like my friends who are not so fortunate with their parents have. I don’t have a diploma, I started working with him straight after high school, my sisters are in uni and will have prospetive careers in their education fields. I know I’m no position to complain, but I can’t shake off that I’m just a leech. I’ve been thinking maybe if I enroll to uni I would be more proud of myself but that’s a lot of money and time.
