Hey all, I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this. It happens often enough now that I cannot ignore it. Essentially is it possible that the models are behaving differently based off your internet speeds? For my example: I am working on a math based engine tool that could have potential legal bearing with its use (Casino related). Due to this I have a very strict set of rules that I utilize to ensure that when changes are made previous completed instances of the analysis produce the same results. 1 Task per window, multiple headless runs of the program to ensure that nothing moves etc. At work I connect my laptop (Macbook M5) to the companies free public WiFi (10Mbit cap). And always utilize fresh sessions /clear never compact with a handoff updated each time. I am using Fable 5.1 on xhigh as orchestrator with various lower tier models for the chosen task at hand. When I type “resume” in a fresh session I get a clear concise list of tracked tasks to be complete with options to choose one and its short and to the point. I select one, it goes about its business and then gives me a very concise and clear result at the end with very little added. I like it alot. Then I go home. I connect the same laptop using the same terminal to my home WiFi network (which gets about 1Gbit speeds on the laptop). I type “resume” in a fresh /clear session with Fable 5.1 xhigh and get returned long winded, extra verbose options in the same list in a table. Each option filled with an explainer and pros / cons of the task. When chosen it goes to work and at completion I receive a very long descriptive text of the work committed and merged and what next steps are. The ONLY difference is my internet speeds. Is it possible that claudecode is changing the model behavior based off the speed with which it can send and receive data? Has anyone else experienced something similar?
