I’m a software engineer, not a 3D artist. I had barely touched Blender before this. I’m also a huge Spider-Man fan, and I was building a fun portfolio for myself with two modes: Miles Morales Mode — a comic-book inspired theme I built earlier MCU Mode — the fresh one I finished yesterday For the MCU mode, I wanted an actual 3D Spider-Man suit. After a lot of searching for a decent free model, I finally found one. Except it wasn’t actually one model. The hands were separate. The legs were separate. The torso was separate. The mask was separate. Basically, I had a Spider-Man jigsaw puzzle with no instructions. I didn’t know Blender well enough to put everything together myself, so I downloaded it, connected it with Claude Code , and started figuring things out. Claude helped me assemble the different pieces, position everything properly, and get the suit coloured the way I wanted. There was definitely a lot of: “Okay Claude, that didn’t work. Try this instead.” But eventually, we got there. What started as a bunch of disconnected 3D parts turned into an actual Spider-Man model I could use in my portfolio. And honestly, this was one of those projects where Claude Code was less about writing traditional code and more about helping me do something I had absolutely no idea how to do. The funniest part? After spending all this time on it, I showed it to my friends. Their response: “Nice.” That’s it. 😂 To be fair, I love my friends. They’re just used to me randomly spending an unreasonable amount of time building things. Anyway, I finished the MCU mode yesterday and thought this was worth sharing here. Here’s the final result: https://jiteenmohanty.vercel.app/ The mode switcher is in the bottom-right. PC or tablet recommended for the full experience. Curious what other completely unrelated-to-coding things people have managed to use Claude Code for. submitted by /u/baitmanvssusman
