I am a straight male (M23) and I have always struggled to get women to be interested in me as I don’t seem appealing to them for how I look. I am definitely not the best looking guy out there, so I do my best to be a confident man who knows how to talk to people through respect and kindness. I also have the tendency to dress up nicely whenever I go out with my boys as we all try to stick out as a group for the ladies. My main problem is I am attracting gay men most of the time, including transgender women. I never try to associate myself with that side since that’s not what I am into. Not that it’s a bad thing to have in my life, but I do not swing that way at all. I don’t act gay, I never try to be all over a man. I talk normally or smoothly to arouse a woman whenever I can. I’m just a normal dude who doesn’t show any sign of that, and yet this is a problem for me. I get messages on social media/dating apps from gay men/transgender women that tell me all the dirty things they want to do to me, and I get stared at or hit on in public by them that come up to me in person. All these things are happening when all I want is all that stuff from women. The drives and energy that I desire and love, are not coming from the gender that I like more. It’s killing me as this pattern has been continuing and wonder when I will actually get what I want and not get it from the wrong basket. What can I even do to change this or what can I do to become a stronger magnet towards women? I can’t take this anymore and I want this to end… submitted by /u/Business-Ad1587
