Repost: @Moderator, stop deleting my posts, I live in Zug. Have encountered numerous Swiss and Europeans who blanket hate on all things and people USA, despite never having lived there. Why?! Imo quite a narrow-minded and uninformed judgment, frustrating to have discussions as they lack insight and nuance. Sure, the politics and healthcare is dysfunctional, people can be superficial, gun violence, homelessness and drug addiction, but there are also gorgeous national parks, good salaries (depending on sector), a sense of possibility, diverse and interesting humans, openness and easy conversations.
