Hey, I was talking with my parents about Switzerland and I realised something, hating on eachother seems like a tradition and I wonder why. I grew up in the french part without any real interaction with the german part. I heard a lot, as a child, that all our problems come from the Swiss-German, they take all the money and we’re left apart, they vote against more holidays etc. (I’m not here to create a debate on old votation) I’ve been thought all my life that I needed to learn German otherwise I wouldn’t find a job (It disgusted me of the language even now when I want to learn it) I’ve also seen the same hate coming from the german side on social media. And it seems completely normal ! As if hate towards the other part was needed to be a real Swiss. So I’m asking, am I the crazy one here?
