I was digging around documentation related to CLAUDE.md files in the official docs and noticed there’s not much context on CLAUDE.md files in home directories (~/.claude/), even though its briefly mentioned. Does anyone use these and find benefit from them? Personally, i’ve only used claude.md files in project directories, but i can think of examples where I re-use similar rules and guardrails across multiple projects that may benefit in a global file.
