I’m thinking of doing a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics, then following it up with a Master’s in the same field plus a Teaching Diploma, since based on my research that’s what’s necessary to be able to teach English in secondary schools / Gymnasium. What are the job prospects for such an educational background here in Switzerland? Are there many schools hiring teachers who only teach English? I am an expat fluent in German (C1) but I would like to work primarily in fields where I use mostly English. I would also be interested in job openings for just the Bachelor’s degree without having to do the Lehrdiplom, but I am highly skeptical about the job market and openings with just that degree. submitted by /u/Potential-Lemon-2444
