I’m a 31M living in a hotter city (around 35°C+), I get what I think is intertrigo in my groin. When I stay in a cooler place, it either disappears completely or is barely noticeable. Symptoms: Red rash in the groin folds on both sides (not on the scrotum). It gets itchy, burns, and sometimes feels like the skin is literally tearing when I walk. My inner thighs rub together, and I sweat a lot (head, face, underarms, and groin). Once it heals, it usually doesn’t leave any marks. I’ve started keeping the area dry and wearing looser clothes, but the heat and sweating make it come back. For guys who live in hot, humid places: What actually works long-term? Do you use antifungal creams every time or only during flare-ups? Any powders, barrier creams, or underwear brands that helped with thigh chafing? If you’re a heavy sweater, how do you keep the groin dry throughout the day? Looking for real experiences and routines that have worked for you. submitted by /u/Mysterious-Bee4923
