I’ve been using claude code to help me build a game in Godot. Nothing usual in that. But I wanted to learn Godot, I wanted to be involved in the coding of the game, and not just prompt my way through. So I’ve developed a very odd and inefficient workflow. I write the barebones of an issue ticket in my git repo. Claude then writes an implementation plan, and the unit tests, and I write the implementation. It’s a bit bonkers and I keep having to justify it to myself - my current way of thinking is that claude is giving me a personalised game dev tutorial based on exactly the game I want to build, not some generic platformer or pixel art Stardew Valley clone. Anyone else using Claude code but still writing the code themselves? submitted by /u/vlogan79
