As the title says, many times I see an atractive girl in the bar or party, I’m too scared to strike up a conversation, even if she seems approachable (she smiles at me, etc…). I know about many cases when a woman accused soneone of harrasment just because he tried to talk to her. Some even do it for fun or to get attention. Even though I realize not all of them are like that, I still have this crippling fear of being ostracized, just for trying to approach her. How to overcome this? submitted by /u/Downtown_Turnip_3447
