After bashing Anthropic for a while (justly so, I believe), an appreciation post: So its that my 200$ plan… finally… FINALLY… feels the way it used to last year. It feels truly unlimited, limited only by my ability to come up with tasks and my ability to babysit them in parallel, which is all i hoped from the plan. I mean this is exactly what we would hope from their highest priced plan, but it appeared to be too much to ask for most of 2026. Switching to codex helped. It’s limits were far more generous until umm… Astra hits the shelf (and mysteriously Sol stops performing well in those days). It was frustrating. Chinese AI was booming in quality, but it was limited by compute and was expensive and slow. So essentially… there was no where to go (which is scary how dependent I/we have become on reliable AI). Opus 5.5 has given me a ray of hope after a long long while. Hoping to not jinx it. submitted by /u/ThePurpleAbsurdist
