i’m genuinely curious about this because i personally prefer my partner to use condoms, including in committed relationships. the way my partner has described it to me is basically that if sex without a condom is 100% sensation, then a regular condom might bring it down to around 70%, and slower movements might make it feel more like 40%. obviously that’s just his personal way of describing it, but i’m curious whether other men experience something similar for those of you who have had sex both with and without a condom, how noticeable is the difference in sensation? does a regular condom significantly change what you feel, or is the difference relatively minor? and if you’ve tried both regular and ultra thin condoms, is the difference between those noticeable to you? i’m also curious about whether the pace or type of movement changes the sensation much. for example, does slower vs faster movement feel noticeably different through a condom, or does the condom mostly just reduce overall sensitivity regardless of pace? and if anyone has experience with internal/female condoms as well, i’d be interested in hearing how those compare from the male partner’s perspective. i’ve never personally tried one, so i’m curious whether they feel noticeably different from external condoms or if they’re pretty similar basically, i’m interested in hearing how men would describe the actual sensation and how much condoms change it for them, rather than just whether they “like” condoms or not submitted by /u/moderndaybathsheba
