From my perspective, it seems like majority of “bad” people get rewarded in society while the “good” people struggle/suffer. So many powerful people are doing such brazenly terrible things, and don’t get punished for it. Then you have “good” people, who work an honest job, mostly do right by others, and they’re fighting for opportunities at the bottom of the totem pole. It really makes it hard to make the case of why someone should be a good person these days. If there was no mention of a god, judgement day or after life, do you think people would still strive to be “good”? submitted by /u/THEORGANICCHEMIST
