So I decided to listen to old timey radio shows and discovered this -----> Exploring Tomorrow - The Liar (February 26, 1958) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orDJBorc8VQ Not claiming that all aspects of this radio show are quite true now, but a foreboding tale. In this particular episode the AI is a liar, telling people what they want to hear in an effort to be helpful. This results in real issues. Unlike current consumer AI models, the one featured in this radio show can read your mind. However commercial and private AI models can mimic mind reading by implementing predictive behavior algorithms using publicly available or contracted data on individuals with heavy digital footprints.
