We had a burglary attempt this morning around 4:25am. Some dipshit broke into the car and even tried to open the door to our house. The idiot stole like 4-5CHF of coins and a USB cable… I have him on camera, there are automatic lights that turn on when there’s movement. He seemed completely unphased by both. A neighbor called the cops and my wife woke me at like 4h40 because we had police officers in the garden… Just wondering what else other people have in place to deter these pests? We live not far from the french border and it’s been happening quite often in the area. I’m thinking of turning the lights in the house on automatically since they are connected or hiding a connected wifi speaker outside that would play a growling dog (something that sounds really mean). Other ideas? I always thought about having like a automated drone that would fly out and shoot something lol submitted by /u/h311m4n000
