Dear guys, I have two wonderful children, and I don’t want a third. My wife has done more than enough—both when we were trying not to have children and when we were trying to have them. I feel it’s my turn now. I want to get a vasectomy, but I’m quite nervous about the injections for the local anesthetic. That’s honestly the main thing holding me back. Unfortunately, in the Netherlands it’s generally not done under general anesthesia; otherwise, the decision would have been easy.
