When it’s an obvious AI script thumbnail, I can just skip even watching the video. When it’s a script written by AI, it’s 4 or 5 minutes of my time wasted before I notice. It makes me hesitate because maybe it was a coincidence, and not AI, and I was enjoying the video until those stupid lines they say keep happening, and maybe I’ll go longer to see if there’s more of them if I was otherwise invested. What’s interesting is that AI scripts are being used way more than thumbnails on Youtube. So they’re already using AI, but not for thumbnails. It’s like they know people don’t like the obvious AI slop, and don’t realize their script is just as much of slop. I don’t even hate AI. But I hate slop so fucking much. I hate these tasteless idiots who can’t proof-read their scripts and see how stupid what they’re about to approve sounds. submitted by /u/innociv
