My sister is looking to relocate. In the twenty years she has been in her industry, she has never had any issue getting interviews, advancing in her field, or finding new employment when she’s ready to move on. She has made the decision to relocate and be closer to family but has been unable to even get a single interview in the new location. We suspect it might be because she is being filtered out by AI screening based on having an out of state address and all of her job experience being out of state. She has started using the address of a family member in that location, but that still leaves her entire work experience half way across the country.
