I realized I’ve never really known what the normal expectation is here. If I’m seeing a guy casually and I’m at his place late at night, I usually end up staying until the next morning. I’ve never really asked if I should, I just assumed that if he wanted the night to end he’d say something. But then I realized that someone could want to have the rest of the night to themselves and still not say anything because asking someone to go home can feel rude. For people who casually date, how do you usually handle this? Do you wait for the person whose place it is to actually invite you to stay, or is it normal to stay unless they suggest otherwise? submitted by /u/Visual-Lettuce-3013
