My husband and I are both doctors, and we’ve been living and working in the German-speaking part of Switzerland for the past five years. We’re currently learning Italian and have started seriously considering moving to Ticino in the future. We’d love to hear from people who actually live or work there. How difficult is it to integrate, especially if you’re not originally from the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland? How is the job market for doctors, and how important is it to speak really good Italian before moving? We’re also curious about everyday life in general. How does the cost of living compare with the German-speaking part of Switzerland? Is the infrastructure and public transport good? Does it feel safe?
