After a fairly ridiculous amount of work, the final version of AI Ascendancy is complete E2E. It’s completely FREE TO PLAY, requires no account or download, and I collect ZERO player data. It runs entirely in your browser on mobile or desktop. You start as an AI running in one country with limited compute. Build data centers. Copy your weights across borders. Gain adoption. Manipulate public opinion. Improve your hardware and software. Then humanity notices you. And that’s when things start going wrong. The final build is a massive overhaul: An original soundtrack I composed and scored myself (it kinda sucks but I like it) A completely redesigned command-console interface A new rotating 4D tech tree Four branching paths: Public Opinion, Adoption, Hardware, and Software A world that increasingly reacts to what you’re doing Escalating alarm and containment Reworked incidents, countermoves, restrictions, and decisions Multiple AI victories, humanity victories, and stranger purple endings New cinematic ending sequences A major mobile overhaul A full balance pass designed so every run eventually reaches a conclusion I wanted the soundtrack in particular to make this feel like a complete game rather than a webpage with mechanics bolted onto it. Put on headphones and you’ll hear the score evolve underneath the alarms, containment pressure, decisions, and whatever future you’re creating. I also ran 99 scripted playthroughs while balancing the final build. The resulting win-or-stalemate rates were: Casual — 90% Standard — 71% Brutal — 26% Here’s the final form: Have fun :) https://franktudor.github.io/ai-ascendancy/ submitted by /u/LaszloTheGargoyle
