I was diagnosed with ADHD this year and awaiting my autism assessment soon. This made me rethink my whole life, learnt self acceptance and how to live a more sustainable life. I am working at a corporate job, I have a degree and immigrated to Switzerland couple of years ago. But I am more and more certain every day, that I cannot live this life on the long term ( waking up ob time, having to be consistent, always being exhausted, free time spent almost solely on recovery, meltdown, self harm thoughts, etc.) I like to live here and want to do something rather on my own, which lets me function in other areas in my life. When I work at a “normal” job, I have constant sleep issues, anxiety, cannot eat regularly, or keep up with the housework at all. I am also physically exhausted, but most of that comes from mental exhaustion. I know that I had a great motivation to work on my own, recently got my medication first time in my life and hope that will help too. But I don’t really have any concrete ideas atm, so I just would like to know, what do you do for a living after leaving corporate world, or did you always have your business? submitted by /u/Sad-Marsupial-2228
