I had a deep conversation with an AI bot, mostly because I wanted answers from its perspective as an AI. Here are its answers. We are the ones with the agency, we are the ones who can decide how to continue. Now obviously, my main question is WHY we are not doing it. And this images is what the AI replied… To me, it’s so sad how we are repeating the same mistakes we have repeated for thousands of years. It’s sad to think that no one is stopping this because they don’t want the other to “win”, without realizing that without humanity, none of it will truly matter… Also, maybe for many of you this was already obvious; for me, I just couldn’t understand why someone would pursue this knowing the risks. I didn’t think about the god complex, or thinking of humanity as flawless. I did think of corporate greed but never thought it could get to this extent. I guess in my mind, nothing is worth it if it ends with no one to use it or enjoy it. Also, whoever is building this on the other side (I guess in the case of America it’d be China), is also human, and should also be thinking about all of these things… submitted by /u/Perfect_Composer4143
