Concept Summary A skilling raid for up to 5 players, set in an ancient, partially collapsed guild complex beneath the Guildmaster’s quarters. Each room is built around one or two skills and features a mini-boss that is defeated not (only) by weapons (maybe like Zalcano) , but by overcoming skill-based mechanics. At the end awaits the Grand Artisan, a boss that combines multiple skills. Room Structure (Example)
- The Overgrown Grove – Woodcutting + Farming Mini-boss: Ancient Treant (chop the correct branches, drain sap, and poison the roots using farming items). The Flooded Forge – Mining + Smithing Mini-boss: Molten Golem (mine ore under pressure, quickly smith bars, and “extinguish” the golem using the correct armor pieces). The Alchemical Depths – Herblore + Cooking Mini-boss: Potion Elemental (gather ingredients, create the right mixtures, and “feed” the elemental while the timer runs). The Runic Spire – Runecrafting + Crafting Mini-boss: Essence Wraith (cleanse essence, craft runes within a moving puzzle, and create amulets/jewelry to bind the wraith). The Whispering Shadows – Thieving + Agility Mini-boss: Phantom Locksmith A large, shadowy thief who constantly locks chests and doors. You must lockpick, pickpocket, and navigate agility obstacles while he triggers traps. If you get caught too often, he temporarily steals your tools. The Ember Canopy – Firemaking + Fletching Mini-boss: Ashen Phoenix You create special logs, fletch arrows or bolts from burning wood, and shoot or throw them at the phoenix to set its feathers alight in the correct sequence. Wrong combination = it extinguishes everything, and you have to start over. The Hunter’s Hollow – Hunter + Construction Mini-boss: Elder Chinchompa Matriarch You set traps, build temporary shelters and tunnel networks using Construction, and catch baby chinchompas to lure and weaken the matriarch. Too much noise = she summons reinforcements. The Sacred Ossuary – Prayer + Crafting Mini-boss: Bone Warden You collect bones, turn them into blessed items or prayer urns, and use them to shatter the Warden’s shields. Occasionally, you must pray quickly to clear debuffs while the room fills with restless spirits. The Clockwork Vault – Construction + Crafting + Smithing (triple-skill room) Mini-boss: The Grand Automaton A massive clockwork monster. You must smith, craft, and install parts into its body in the correct sequence using Construction to disable it. The Gilded Gallery – Thieving + Crafting (or Agility) Mini-boss: Cursed Curator A museum filled with valuable artifacts that you must steal without triggering alarms. You craft fake replicas along the way to bypass traps. If you are spotted, the Curator activates moving statues. Final Chamber – The Grand Artisan: A massive boss that is half-human, half-construct. You must engage in the following in real-time: • Woodcutting/mining for resources • Smithing/crafting to create weapons/tools to use against the boss • Herblore/cooking for buffs and debuffs • Runecrafting for special attacks—all under time pressure and involving mechanics. (Not that good of an artist, so no art concepts unfortunately) Just a couple of suggestions, but i think it could be an interesting idea for late game skilling. submitted by /u/tokk30
