I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues this last year and have had to forego many of the more visually/strategically intense games I play. A lot of people (that I know, at least) talk bad about OSRS as a game where you don’t really do much… Lotta grinding… Boring clicker game… While I know the haters are wrong and I personally love OSRS’ more challenging gameplay , I’m also really, really grateful for the “boring” loops. Farming, mining, runecrafting, woodcutting, agility- they have really brought me a lot of peace and a sense of accomplishment in a time defined by personal setbacks. I am so lucky that I get to play this game in a way that meets my needs and have really come to appreciate the structure of these skills. All this to say that, yeah, OSRS is incredible and I’m going to be playing forever. Peace out. submitted by /u/coconinowizard
