Somewhere around 3-4 years ago, I jumped back into OSRS and thought … Man, it’s about time I finally got my Fire Cape. I learned the fight caves with somewhere around mid-70s-80s ranged and combat skills, and battled through one of the worst cases of ‘Jad Hands’ you could possibly imagine … I’m talking well over 20 attempts at Jad. I could genuinely ‘fight’ through the waves in my sleep by the time I finally conquered this son of a bitch. But eventually, I DID conquer him. To this day, I can visualize where I was, what I was doing and how I felt emotionally when I finally donned that goof-ass cheese cape. What a feeling. All of this is is to prelude the fact that in the present day, I am actively farming the Desert Treasure 2 bosses for SRA pieces, have earned my very own BowFa from learning CG, and am just shy of 100 points of the Elite Combat Achievement Tier Rewards. I have a quest cape, and my elite achievement diaries are almost entirely complete; My my total level is well into the 2200’s, and have a bank value over 1.3B, that the 2022 version of me would absolutely salivate over. Idk man … I’ve admittedly been drinking a bit tonight, but jeez, am I feeling utterly stoked over how I’ve been playing the same game for almost 25 years and it’s still so, so incredibly satisfying to play, with regards to individua Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just smitten with rose colored, nostalgia-framed glasses? This game is the best lol submitted by /u/ConnerofRivia
