Today, we’re launching Guided Vision in Gemini Live across compatible Android devices — bringing voice-forward, real-time visual interpretation to people who are blind, have low vision, or want intuitive visual assistance. https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/products/gemini-app/guided-vision-gemini-live/ Pretty excited about this because I have a blind family member who is looking forward to using it. She is very excited to “see” things that nobody bothers to describe to her. Also timely that Gemini 4 Argon just reached #1 on Blueprint-Bench 2, a benchmark that measures AI’s understanding of the physical 3D world. It is now almost at human-level performance, which is good considering that just a year ago, AI models were scoring close to zero. https://andonlabs.com/evals/blueprint-bench-2 I understand online AI discourse has become almost solely coding focused but I think these are important advancements and developments for AI. submitted by /u/Keeltoodeep
